SUMMARY:

Dr. David’s areas of expertise include screening strategies for colorectal cancer, risk management for cancer of the esophagus and stomach, and benign and malignant diseases of the liver and biliary tree. He also provides consultation to patients with ulcerative colitis and Crohn’s disease and is an expert in Clinical Nutrition.

 

Dr. David’s research interests include various chemoprevention strategies for colorectal cancer and polyps, trials for agents to minimize the gastrointestinal complications of chemotherapy and bone marrow transplantation, and studies on the genes linking chronic hepatitis and liver cancer.

 

He is an Associate Professor of Clinical Medicine and UCLA and serves on advisory panels for the NCCN and other national and international medical policy organizations.
